Unexpected Surprises

   As usual, every tuesday I go out to bring in the garbage cans. I checked the mail box before taking the cans in and out of the corner of my eye I noticed a white envelope sticking out from the lid. I turned back to see what it was, opening the lid to get it out. To my surprise it read, MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE GARBAGE COLLECTOR. It brought a huge smile to my face that a stranger who has only seen our garbage cans, took his time to drop off a Christmas card. Things like that don't usually happen here, especially not thoughtful ones. People who live in my town know what I mean... :)
